K.T. RAIDERS Mission Statement

The Kingston Township Raiders, Inc. was established in the 1970s. The K.T. Raiders are a youth football and cheerleading club aimed at promoting the wholesome development of American Football and Cheerleading skills to children between the ages of 5 to 14 years of age. If given the chance we would provide the participant an ALL Play Football or Cheerleading program. With the help of our Heads Up Certified Football Coaches & our AACCA Certified Cheerleading Coaches our youth will learn leadership, sportsmanship, teamwork, and self-discipline. These traits are essential for the youth to face the future with positive aspirations and confidence. Teaching the children the skills to play sports promotes character, self-confidence and responsibility & teamwork in a competitive environment. We hope thus gaining a strong sense of community. We want our athletes to remain positive as they approach other challenges within their lives.

-Goals-

To provide wholesome competitiveness within the scope of our rules and regulations. To teach the fundamentals of football and cheerleading. The Kingston Township Raiders are a non-profit organization giving the youth (ages 5-14) of our area (Shavertown, Trucksville, Dallas, Franklin Township, West Wyoming, Luzerne, Courtdale, Pringle, Harding) a chance to participate in an ALL play Football and Cheerleading program. Our focus is on helping to provide a structured, safe and secure environment for the children to learn these life skills. Our goal is to teach the fundamentals of football and cheerleading in an atmosphere where fun is the key word in fundamental.
